An Inclusive and Developmental Approach to Community
At iamHeart, we honor and welcome people of all backgrounds, identities and life experiences. We recognize the impact of historical injustices and are committed to supporting healing and growth no matter an individual’s background or identity. We welcome all religions at iamHeart and recognize that all paths lead to the one heart.Â
Everyone’s journey is unique, and we value both inclusion and thoughtful discernment.Â
Challenges and feedback are part of learning; they help us grow personally and together as a community. We strive to create a culture of the heart that is loving and accepting with personal responsibility. We create room for transformation at each person’s own pace, fostering dignity, learning, and connection for all.
Student Conduct & Dismissal
iamHeart reserves the authority to remove a student from any course if the lead teachers and the iamHeart Staff determine that certain behaviors disrupt the learning environment or violate community standards. This may include, but is not limited to, dishonesty, harassment, or actions that compromise the safety, respect, or integrity of the community. In such cases, the refund will reflect the terms laid out in the contract for the course. These measures are designed to maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Attendance Policy
At iamHeart, honesty and respectful engagement are at the heart of our community. To ensure a supportive and trustworthy learning environment, only registered students may attend our Zoom classes, whether they are on camera or listening in off-camera. Family members, friends, partners or other guests are not permitted to participate in any form, especially in paid courses.
For free classes, registration is still required. This allows us to track attendance and improve the learning experience accurately. Any unregistered participation, visible or not, compromises the integrity and respect that our work in the Heart depends on.
We appreciate your cooperation and your commitment to honoring these expectations, which help keep our community safe and authentic.
Scholarship Policy
iamHeart is committed to making our programs accessible to all walks of life. Partial scholarships are available to help reduce financial barriers, with priority given to students facing unavoidable hardships such as chronic illness, caregiving responsibilities, recent job loss, or significant currency differences. Awards are limited and not guaranteed. We do not offer full scholarships. Work-study options are not offered at this time.
By applying, you confirm that financial support is necessary for your participation. Your engagement helps maintain a learning environment rooted in clarity, compassion and integrity. To apply for aid for a course, please email heart@iamheart.org for a form.
Withdrawal & Refunds
We recognize that circumstances change both financially and personally, and we strive to respond with clarity and compassion. Students wishing to withdraw must submit a written request prior to the published withdrawal deadline to heart@iamheart.org. Refunds will be processed according to the policies outlined at the time of enrollment.
Please note that deposits are non-refundable and are only transferable to another course with written approval. If a student withdraws before the deadline, the deposit will be retained, and any remaining tuition paid will be refunded. Withdrawals after the deadline result in the forfeiture of all future payments. These deadlines will be laid out in contracts during enrollment.
Payment Plans
To make programs more accessible, iamHeart offers payment plans, allowing tuition to be spread over the months of the course. Enrolling in a plan represents a commitment to complete payment in exchange for access to the full course experience, preferably before the end date of the course. We charge all payments on the first weekday of each month.
Students are responsible for ensuring funds are available for each scheduled payment and that their payment method is current. If a payment fails, you will receive an email informing you and asking for payment. If we do not receive a payment, you may be removed from the program, or under special circumstances, the missed payment will be moved to the end of the payment plan timeline for payment at a later date.
Access and Use of Content Policy
All live sessions in iamHeart programs are captured and made accessible to enrolled students. This allows participants who cannot attend in real time to review the full session content at their convenience—a benefit not always offered in free classes.
All materials, including recordings, documents, and login access, are intended exclusively for the personal use of registered students. Sharing, distributing, or providing access to anyone outside of the enrolled group is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.
Recordings will remain available for at least six months after the conclusion of a course. After this period, access may be discontinued or the content may be repurposed for broader educational use, while ensuring that individual student participation is respected. Only teacher-provided lecture content may be shared by iamHeart without additional student authorization.
We thank you for helping us protect the integrity and respect of our learning environment.
