About Course

When asked how meditation has helped me, I often begin by saying that “I was an anxious daughter, born to an anxious mother, born to an anxious grandmother…“.

The goal for the women in my family was to ‘stay safe’. Life was something to be feared. I held my breath … a lot.

What happened when I connected with my breath and heartbeat in meditation?

The breath began to flow.

Increased coherence contributed to the stabilization and restoration of my nervous system. I became aware of what I had not previously been aware of. New desires emerged to meet expanded capacities.

I changed … as did my willingness to live more fully.

As the power of my heart strengthened, fear became a unique invitation into something greater and more life giving. Mystery and uncertainty have become treasured companions.

And there is nothing quite as satisfying for me as the risk of living.

Join me Sunday, January 28 at 8:00am PT for a time of meditation and conversation about Connecting with Heart, our 9-month certification program.
