Learn Heart Rhythm Practice
The first step to living from your heart all the
time is to build a home for your heart. The building blocks of this
home are the stages of
Heart Rhythm Practice, which you can learn
in different ways:
Take a Weekend Seminar
A weekend seminar is a direct route to learning
Heart Rhythm Practice.
You will have the chance to connect with a teacher and others doing
the practice. It is wonderful to meditate with a group of people;
as Puran Bair says, "Meditation can't be taught, but it can
be caught!"
Sign up for a Web course
This is individualized, daily instruction in
Heart Rhythm Practice
with advice,
suggestions and answers to each participant in a small group,
from a certified teacher, for 8 to 12 weeks.
You explore the steps of HRP, one per week,
with a community drawn from all over the world.
IAM pioneered teaching meditation over the internet with a live teacher.
It is truly amazing how quickly people learn and advance in just
a few weeks. Now there are four webcourses at progressive levels.
We recommend the first web course for everyone, regardless
of prior experience.
Connect with a Mentor
IAM offers a beautiful and powerful method for opening your heart and
discovering the treasure it holds.
But this method is best directed by a friend who has
used it and learned the steps.
The Mentor is trained to personally guide you through the steps
and levels of the IAM
training, including the different seminars and retreats,
and to apply the guidance and power of the heart to the challenges of
your life.
Find a local class
There are teachers in the US and UK who give weekly meditation
classes, private lessons, and other events.
Read Living From the Heart
the sourcebook for HRP
by Puran Bair, co-founder of IAM, an excellent
introduction to Heart Rhythm Practice. Now available in
three languages.
Learn HRM through CD's
that guide you through the five stages of the practice and also
explain the application of HRM to daily life.

Listen to your body.
Value your mind.
Honor your ego.
Harness your emotions.
Employ the Mind-Body connection.
Attentive to physical sensation,
alert and awake,
feel all emotion.
Authentic, profound,
scientific, ancient,
but not religious.
No fantasy, no spacing-out. Real
practical benefits to your health, work, and relationships.
Taking the goal of responsibility and integrity, not freedom and
detachment,
we seek to have a greater impact on our world than our world has upon
us.
This is the method of our time. |
